Missing Tagaytay

Casino Filipino - Tagaytay

It's been a while since the last time I've been to Tagaytay. Known as a quick getaway destination, Tagaytay has always been my second refuge. I miss:

• The road trip itself. The cool breeze and ear pressure as you go up the hill.
• Casino nights and early mornings.
• Having coffee with the view of Taal Volcano.
• Though I'm not a fan of mushrooms, I miss the taste of Mushroom Burger
• The steaming bulalo soup and crispy tawilis of Leslie's
• Senorita (mini bananas)
• Tagaytay Market's line of beef ; flowers; fruit-bearing plants
• Side trips to Nasugbu and Calaruega, Batangas; Sonya's Garden
• Discovering new hotels and restaurants
• Josephine's breakfast buffet!

Perhaps I should go this coming long weekend... :-D
